David Box is President and CEO of Box Ventures. An Oklahoma native and a graduate of the University of Oklahoma, Box has created a diverse portfolio of companies that include: Box Talent Agency, Box Real Estate, The Greens Country Club and Cameron - Box Sports. From his humble beginnings as a concert promoter to currently employing over 120 team members, Box is a true entrepreneur.
Recently celebrating its 20th anniversary, Box Talent Agency is a driving force behind Oklahoma City and Tulsa's entertaiment industry. Over the years David has produced highly successful concerts for national artists that have included Toby Keith, John Mayer and the Dixie Chicks. David is the "go to" guy for everything entertainment and has served as entertainment consultant for George Shinn, owner of the New Orleans Hornet's and Willie's Place - a venue ownerd by Willie Nelson. The agency is well known throughout the region and represents many of Oklahoma City and Dallas' most requested party bands. As an exclusive agent for mutiple clubs within the region, Box Talent is always looking for new artists with a fresh sound.
With over one million square feet of real estate in Oklahoma, Box is consistently looking to expand upon a diverse portfolio. Box's holdings include property on Norman's historical Campus Corner, key commercial space in Oklahoma City's up and coming districts include Midtown, Western Avenue and 23rd street. Additionally, Box is majority owner of the Greens Country Club in Oklahoma City. The club includes an 18-hole championship golf course and state of the art tennis facility, a beautiful 30,000 square foot clubhouse and three swimming pools.
In addition to his business interest, Box is active in the community. He has served as Vice Chair on the Integris Young Philanthropist Board, keynote speaker at many local chamber events and has produced a wide range of benefit/charity events, including Rolling Stone's magazine Nationwide College tour, headlined by Dave Mathews and Big Head Todd for victims of the Oklahoma City Bombing.
