Talons beat Blizzard for 10th straight win |

Wis. — It was a tale of two halves for the Tulsa Talons and Green Bay
Blizzard on Friday night, but the Talons prevailed in the end, 66-54,
to win their 10th consecutive game.
Tulsa's defense got off to a rocky start as it allowed touchdowns on
Green Bay's first six possessions. But the Blizzard's offense went
stagnant in the second half as Tulsa (11-1) rallied in front of 6,348
at the Resch Center.
In the first half, the Blizzard (7-5) outpaced the league's
second-ranked team and most potent scoring offense, but couldn't match
the Talons in the second half.
Quarterback Gino Guidugli led Green Bay, completing his first 16 passes.
The second half was a different story.
The Talons hit their stride in the second half, taking the lead
at the end of the third quarter, 52-51, and extending it to eight
points with wide receiver Jeff Hughley's fourth TD reception at the
start of the fourth.
